S. Balakrishnan is an Indian politician and former Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. He was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly as an Indian National Congress candidate from Mudukulathur constituency in 1977 and 1991 elections[1][2] and as a Tamil Maanila Congress (Moopanar) candidate from the same constituency in 1996 election[3] and from Kadaladi constituency as a Tamil Maanila Congress (Moopanar) candidate in 2001 election.[4]
